Richard,

Some comments below. I have also been singing praises of the villa in my office and 2 people who are planning to go to Florida in the next year or two have noted interest and will be considering.

"When you arrive in Florida on the first day at the end of a long flight from the UK the last thing you want to have to think about is your accommodation being up to scratch as you can only use pictures available to give you an idea of what you will be walking into. Thankfully there are no such worries when staying at Florida Escape. We arrived tired and drained, having been on the go for 19 hours in total from leaving home in the UK to arriving at the villa, with 3 children in tow, and it was an absolute pleasure to walk through the doors and find the villa to be both spotlessly clean and perfectly laid out. It definitely lifted our spirits after such a long day.

The children immediately headed for the pool area, washing away the tiredness with a dip in the wonderfully heated pool. My wife and I set about unpacking and were delighted to find more than enough storage space for our family of 5. The bedrooms were all excellent in size and set up, the master especially with shower, Jacuzzi style bath and then walk in wardrobe space meant we never at any point felt clustered as a lot of our clothes were away and out of sight.

Once we had fully settled in we really started to appreciate the villa's benefits. The pool and Jacuzzi area catch the sun from early afternoon until it goes down, ideal when requiring to recharge the batteries on days away from the parks and shops. The large screen TV in the living room had more channels than you could shake a stick at and Fox Sports and NBCSN both had Premier League football coverage, ideal if you are an early riser on the weekend mornings.

The kitchen area has more than enough plates, glasses, cutlery etc, a very large fridge and an equally big freezer with ice dispenser, again ideal for prepping that cold drink before heading out to the Jacuzzi. It also has all the other amenities you might require if you choose to eat in rather than out for a change - oven, very large microwave and a fair sized dishwasher for afterwards.

The bedrooms, as mentioned, were all more than good enough in terms of size and also each bedroom had its own TV with an very good selection of channels on each too if you needed some rest time away from the main living areas of the house.

The garage had both air hockey and table football/fussball table to keep the children (and adults) entertained if they ever got bored of lazing by the pool. They were very well used on my visit. In the garage we also noted the little bits which in my opinion makes Florida Escape a top rental option in that there was little things such as multiple beach towels for pool use as well as options such as 6 mountain bikes, in various sizes, if you ever wanted to get out and explore the resort on bike. There is also the added essentials of a very large washing machine and tumble dryer in the garage too.

In terms of location the villa itself is ideal, both in Emerald Island and in proximity to parks and restaurants. There are villas to either side of the villa itself but these do not feel intrusive and the villas opposite the location are actually down a hill so cannot look into your pool area. Many Emerald Island locations have pool areas looking in on each other but this one gives you that little bit extra privacy. In terms of eating, there is a local supermarket close by, approximately 3 minutes drive from Emerald Island and also a multitude of dining options roundabout the 192 area, starting about 5 minutes from the villa. In relation to Disney parks, take many claims that they are "10 minutes from Disney" with a pinch of salt, they are but only if Lewis Hamilton is driving an F1 car. Emerald Island really is about 10 minutes from Disney. You can be on the 192 from leaving Emerald Island within 3 minutes, you can be pulling off the 192 and on the road to Disney within another 5 minutes.

Overall I couldn't recommend this villa enough. It's absolutely ideal for families in terms of layout and facilities, its very well maintained (the pictures available don't actually do it justice in my opinion) and the overall rental experience was extremely easy from initial enquiries to final preparation before we left, Richard was always quick to respond to any questions and wonderful to deal with. I am already counting down the days until we can return to Florida and my first priority would be booking Florida Escape as our base once again."

The house was just as the website stated. We had a blast relaxing by the pool. The grandkids really enjoyed the game room. We would surely try to rent the location for our next family trip.

"The house had everything we needed. The pool was a hit with our grandkids, they were in it every day. They also loved the Disney theme room. It was also close to the parks and to shopping. We would defiantly book here again and recommend it to other people. Thanks again".

Just tidying up my inbox and came across your last email which immediately brought back memories of a fantastic holiday we had in the Florida sunshine now that I look out at cold wet and windy weather here. The holiday was everything that we hoped it would be and got off to the best possible start when we arrived at Florida Escape. We were so impressed by it and the boys in particular loved their Sponge Bob bedroom and the pool ! we even had a visit from the ? Herons.

We all agreed that having such a spacious, comfortable and well equipped base to come back to after some tiring days out made all the difference to our enjoyment of Disneyworld. I am sure holidays in self catering apartments in Europe which we normally do will not seem quite so appealing from now on, and we are already thinking about when we can afford to go back again to see some of the other attractions that Florida has to offer.

Once again many thanks for the use of your lovely villa, I am sure we will go back at some stage so feel free to keep me informed of your holiday lets

Kind regards

It's taken a bit of time to get back to GMT.

Just a note to say the group totally loved the Villa and the location.  Out of all the times we have been there this is by far the best villa we have been in. The quality and facilities were first class and a credit to you both.

The converted garage was a brilliant for the kids and allowed the adults some quality time on their own following the bussle of the Parks.

We will have no hesitation in using you for future bookings as the location, pond view had many wildlife creatures kept the kids searching for activity and the firework nightly views were very peaceful and added value to the holiday.

Just thought I would drop you a line and say we had a fab time…thank you for the use of your villa, it was out of this world…we made friends with the family next door, everything went like clock work and we did not get lost, which was a first. We had sun all day and sat outside late every night..wish we were still there..again thank you.

Sunset Lakes is one of the best places you can go in Orlando. All the villas are around a little lake and the area has a nice private atmosphere. The villa was excellent, all rooms and all the equipment were in a good condition.

This property is outstandingly luxurious. It has all the amenities required to entertain the children in a fabulous games room with playstation, internet, foosball air hockey as well as a huge plasma TV and loads of cable channels. The location is stunning and after battling the crowds on a hot august day at Disney, relaxing in a bubbling spa, watching the sunset on a rippling lake as the ducks float by just outside your villa is simply heaven! I don’t go to hotels that are less than 5 star and I am very fussy. Its not just the amount of amenities that's important ,its the quality of those amenities along with the cleanliness, the decoration, the surrounding location and the tiny attention to detail. I travel a lot and this is the best so far - its 5 star plus and I cant give this villa a higher recommendation than to say it is quite simply perfect - I wouldn’t stay anywhere else and I will be returning very soon!
